Start Your Query:
  1. Go to Analysis > Information Library
  2. Click Add a New Ad-hoc query
  3. Select the source view of Constituents. NOTE: If you are using this list for an Appeal mailing in Altru, a constituent query will be required. If you are only using this list for reporting, you can either use a Constituents or a Membership Source View. This solution reviews the instructions for a Constituent Source View.
Add Criteria to Include Records Where:
  1. From the left column, expand Member
  2. From the middle column, drag Is dropped to Include Records Where. Set this to be equal to No. This will exclude members that have been removed from their memberships from your list.
  3. (Optional): If you would only like to see Primary Members in your output, you can drag "Primary member" from the middle column to Include Records Where. Set this equal to Yes.
  4. From the left column, under where you expanded Member, highlight Membership.
  5. From the middle column, drag Status to Include Records Where. Set this to be One of Lapsed or Expired.
  6. (Optional): If you would only like to view members from a specific program, drag Membership Program into Include Records Where and set this equal to the program you need. We can not exclude fields that are blank for these can not be blank on a membership record.
Add fields to Results Fields to Display:
  1. From the middle column, add any additional details you'd like to see. We recommend:
    • Member\Membership\Membership Level
    • Member\Membership\Status
    • Member\Membership\Expiration Date
