Error: No Student Information when viewing a teacher's Grade Book

Note: As of July 9, 2018, Blackbaud’s School Management solutions (which include Core, onBoard, onCampus, onMessage, and onRecord) are utilizing a new top level navigation. This primarily affects users performing administrative tasks—constituent navigation for most parents, students, faculty, and alumni will remain the same.

When viewing a teachers Grade Book teachers may see that there are no columns and a notification that there is No Student Information.
Follow the steps below to resolve the issue
  • Confirm that marking periods have been set up
    1. ​As someone who has rights to create marking periods go to OnCampus > Settings > Academics > Marking Periods
    2. Select the School Year & School Level
    3. Add at least one marking period for each term
  • If marking periods have been created click Edit and make sure that today's date falls within the selected range for the the marking period.

Steps to Duplicate

1. Open Class Page
2. Select Grade Book
3. Notice that there are no Grades
