If you ran an AddressFinder (NCOA) before 8/23/2017, you may notice that city names over thirteen characters long were abbreviated. For example, "Black River Falls" will be abbreviated to "Blk River Fls" per the US Postal Service's standardization. The Post Office will deliver mail to addresses with shortened city names.

This issue was resolved on 8/23/2017. The next time you run AddressFinder (NCOA) any address processed or standardized will return with the full city name instead.
