When sending an email through Altru, we will be required to include the Privacy Policy and the Email Preferences link prior to sending the email. 

For an Appeal Mailing:
  1. From Marketing and Communications, Click Appeal Mailings
  2. Click the Name of your Appeal Mailing
  3. Navigate to the Letters Tab
  4. Click the arrow to the left of the letter, Click Edit
  5. In the Write your letter's content section, click Edit
  6. To insert the Email Preferences Link
    1. Highlight the text you would like to hyperlink within your letter, Click the Insert/edit Link button (looks like Chain link)

    2. In the Insert Link pop up, Mark the Radio Button Special Page > Select Webforms Email Preferences in the drop down

    3. Click Ok
  7. To Insert the Privacy Policy
    1. Highlight the text you would like to hyperlink within your letter, Click the Insert/edit Link button (looks like Chain link)

    2. In the Insert Link pop up, Mark the Radio Button Special Page > Select Privacy Page in the drop down, Choose Webforms Privacy

  8. Click Okay 
  9. Click Next, Click Finish and Close
For a Membership Renewal Letter:
  1. From Marketing and Communication, Click Email Marketing
  2. Click View Emails
  3. Click the arrow to the left of the Letter, click Edit
  4. To insert the Email Preferences Link
    1. Highlight the text you would like to hyperlink within your letter, Click the Insert/edit Link button (looks like Chain link)

  5. To Insert the Privacy Policy

  2. Click the arrow to the left of your Letter, Click Edit
  3. In the Write your letter's content section, click Edit

    1. Highlight the text you would like to hyperlink within your letter, Click the Insert/edit Link button (looks like Chain link)
