When a user makes a multiple person registration online and the multi-person registration for an event is brought into CRM, via an OOB Event Registration Batch and is committed, the Constituent record shows each line of the registration separately as opposed to cumulatively.
We are currently evaluating this issue for a fix in a future service pack.
Steps to Duplicate
Go to Administration
Click Batch Entry
Select Event Registration Batch Basic from the drop down and click Save
Open the freshly created Batch
Populate the Batch with a Constituent and Event
Enter any number other than one in the Quantity column
Under Guests column select Unnamed guest for each guest
Save and Commit the Batch
Navigate to the Event tab on the Constituent record
