Error: Data could not be saved. Arithmetic overflow error for data type tinyint, value = 999 - when selling a membership through Advance sales

When attempting to sale a membership through Advance Sales you may receive this error message: Data could not be saved. Arithmetic overflow error for data type tinyint, value = 999
This error message can be caused by having a membership count that is too high in Altru. For example you may have a membership level that allows 999 members. You would need to reduce the amount of those members to a smaller number. You can process the membership transaction by using Daily Sales or through the constituent's record

Reduce membership count:
  1. Click Memberships > click on the name of the membership
  2. Click on the terms and levels tab > click edit
  3. Reduce the number of members on the membership level
  4. Click save

Process a membership through the Constituent's record:
  1. Click Constituents > Constituent Search
  2. Search for and select the constituent
  3. Click Add a membership > enter the membership information
  4. Click Save to complete the payment

Steps to Duplicate

  1. Click Sales > Advance Sales
  2. Enter a patron on the Select a patron screen
  3. Click on the Create order tab > Click Memberships >Click sell a membership
  4. Choose the membership program and click save
After clicking on the membership program an error message will occur
