The FENXT Journal Entry Add in is an external method to allow us to create journal entries in the excel spreadsheet. When finished we click submit to validate and create the entry. When using a previously used excel worksheet, clicking the submit button does not actually submit the data or validates it. But copying the data from the original excel sheet, to a new blank one and turning on the add in, then the same data submits without issue.
We are currently investigating this issue and will update this article.
Steps to Duplicate
1. Open excel, turn on Journal Entry add in, then enter and submit data. 2. See the submit button does not actually submit. 3. Open a new blank excel work sheet, enable add in. 4. Copy data from original book to new book and click submit. See it submit and provide feedback.
