Default batch template fields do not pull into membership dues form

The membership dues batch has been set up to default certain fields, like the appeal. However, these fields do not default in the membership dues batch form. 
Our Product Development team has reviewed this issue, its impact in the software, and the availability of an alternative solution. After careful consideration, we have determined that this issue will not be addressed currently in the Altru software. Product Development will be focusing development resources in other existing areas of the product, as well as new feature development. Please continue to enter the fields in manually when entering membership dues.

Steps to Duplicate

  1. Click Revenue > Click Batch Entry
  2. In the Configuration/Tasks menu, click Batch templates
  3. Highlight the Membership Dues Batch, click Edit
  4. On the Select fields and defaults tab, highlight appeal in the selected fields
  5. In the field defaults, select a specific appeal 
  6. Click Save
  7. From Memberships, click Enter Membership Dues, click Add
  8. Select Membership Dues Batch, click Save
  9. Enter the constituent name
  10. Notice the appeal field does not default with the appeal that we entered in the batch default
