Warning: All of the below things to check will become locked down as soon as parents begin to sign their contracts. Please double check everything to ensure a smooth contract experience.

Have Grade Levels been mapped?

Platform Managers will want to double check to make sure that grade levels in Enrollment Management have been mapped to their corresponding Smart Tuition grade level. To do so, the Platform Manager will go to Core > Settings > Blackbaud connections > Smart Tuition and click the Grade Mapping button. Change the year drop down to the year you are going to be sending contracts out for and make sure that all Enrollment Management grade levels are mapped to their Smart Tuition equivalent.

Has Financial Aid been mapped?

If your school plans on using Financial Aid through Smart Tuition, a Platform Manager will need to make sure that the Financial Aid types defined in Enrollment Management  > Admissions > Candidate profile settings > Financial Aid have been mapped to their equivalent Smart Tuition Discount. To do so, the Platform Manager will go to Core > Settings > Blackbaud connections > Smart Tuition and click the Financial Aid Mapping button. Change the year drop down to the year you are going to be sending contracts out for and map each Financial Aid Type with the corresponding Smart Tuition Discount.

After mapping the Enrollment Management Financial Aid Types to the Smart Tuition Discounts, ReEnrollment Managers will then need to add the Mapped Financial Aid types onto the contract Fee Block. To do so, the ReEnrollment Manager will go to Enrollment Management > Enrollment > Contracts > Manage contract forms and click the edit pencil for the specific contract form. Navigate to the Section containing the Fee Schedule block and click the Add button in the Financial Aid section and mark off any Financial Aid Types that will be used with this contract.

Note: If you want to display the Financial Aid to parents, you will also need to make sure "Show Financial Aid Information" is toggled to Yes

Is Tuition Insurance set up?

If your school is going to either allow Tuition Insurance as an option on certain Payment Plans, and require it on others, ReEnrollment Managers will want to double check to make sure the appropriate Tuition Insurance control has been set for each payment plan. To do so, the ReEnrollment Manager will go to Enrollment Management > Enrollment > Contracts > Manage contract forms > Edit the contract and click the Payment Plans button. Make sure that the year drop down is selected to the year you are sending contracts out for. Hover over the Tuition Insurance option and you will see a pencil icon appear over the option type. Click this and you will get a drop down of the different Tuition Insurance options you can use.
