The Smart Administrative Fee is the fee assessed to/for each Active family in the system. 

When a family's first payment is going to be remitted to your school (typically 7-10 days after the payment is posted to their account), the withholding will be triggered in the system to withhold for this fee. You will usually see these withholdings from your first few remittances, unless there is any late enrollment.

This fee can either be passed along to your families and is added in with their first month's billing, or the school can choose to absorb the fee for the family instead. For further information regarding your School Settings, please feel free to Contact Customer Support.
Note: If the first payment posted to a family's account is an in-school payment, the withholding will still trigger and the amount will be withheld from your following remittance.
