My form updates are not publishing to my website after enabling email opt-ins

With the 5/1/2018 release of Online Express, email opt-ins through Donation Forms were introduced into Online Express. After enabling and disabling the email opt-in feature on a donation form, users may notice that their form updates are delayed when publishing to their website.
We are currently evaluating this issue and will update this article when we have more information.

Steps to Duplicate

  1. On the Donations tab in the OLX plugin, click Edit on one of your forms
  2. Under the Allow opt-ins via this form (optional) section of  the Getting started tab, mark the Include consent opt-in checkbox
  3. Click Save and Close
  4. Navigate to the embedded form
  5. Notice the opt-in feature is present
  6. Navigate back to the Getting started tab in the donation form
  7. Unmark the Include consent opt-in checkbox
  8. Click Save and close
  9. Click Preview on the form
  10. Notice the opt-in feature is not populated on the form
  11. Navigate back to the embedded form
  12. Notice the opt-in feature is still present
  13. Wait 10 minutes and navigate back to the embedded form
  14. Notice the opt-in feature is still present
  15. Re-embed the OLX script into the webpage
  16. Notice the opt-in feature is still present
  17. Eventually, over an hour after turning off the opt-in feature, the embedded form eventually updates
