I have several exports for membership information that have worked fine until just recently. Now they all export duplicate lines. This is only happening for exports with Membership queries and export definitions.
My membership count is inflated when previewing results in my query. It appears to be counting the membership transactions per patron instead of membership programs.
We are currently evaluating this issue and will update this article when we have more information.
Steps to Duplicate
Go to Analysis > Information Library
Click Add an ad-hoc query, select the Memberships source view and click OK
Add any field to Include Records Where to filter on criteria like a membership level that will pull multiple memberships into the results
Click Preview Results and note the number of records
Go to the Set Save Options tab, name the query and mark the checkboxes for "Create a selection" and "Show this Selection in the Query Designer"
Go to Administration > Export Definitions > Add
Select the Memberships option and click OK
Select the Set Save Options tab, name the export definition and Save
Go to Administration > Export and click Add
Name the export and select Export Definition for the Export Type
Search for and select the query selection and export definition, then Save
Click the drop-down next to your export and click Start Process
When the process finishes, click Download Output > Download to CSV
Note that there are duplicate rows for some membership records
Note: This may also impact your membership count within query, inflating the number due to the membership transactions, instead of membership program/lookup ID.
