This may occur if the full name has not been synced with the parts of the name. To refresh the client name:


1. Accounts Receivable > Records > Clients > open the client in question
2. On the Client 1 tab, click the Client Name button
3. Mark to Synchronize full name and individual name fields > Click Ok > Choose the option to update the full name based on individual name fields
4. Save and close the record
5. Open a client and search > ensure the record now appears in the search results

If the name does not appear in the desired format after syncing it: 
1. Accounts Receivable > Records > Clients > open the client in question
2. On the Client 1 tab, click the Client Name button
3. Unmark to Synchronize full name and individual name fields 
4. Edit the Name format in the bottom field > Click Ok
5. Save and close the record
