When attempting to log into DC NXT, eTapestry, or Education Management, the login page displays a continuous loop in some browsers

When logging in to DonorCentral NXT, eTapestry, or Blackbaud Education Management (formerly K12 ON Products) the page begins to load, but then stops and loads again when logging in with Blackbaud ID. This continues in a loop and the user cannot log in.
We are currently evaluating this issue and will update this article with more information. In the mean-time, here is the work-around for the issue:

Safari:
  1. Open Safari > Preferences
  2. Privacy Tab > Un-check "Prevent cross-site tracking" 
Safari on iOS:
  1. Open Settings app > Safari
  2. Ensure "Prevent cross-site tracking" is disabled
NOTE: Chrome and Firefox users may also experience looping if they have their browsers set to NOT "Accept third-party cookies". Here are links that will show how to make sure a browser is allowing third-party cookies. 

1. Firefox
a. Click the Firefox menu button fx57menu and select Content Blocking.
b. This takes you to the Content Blocking section of your Firefox Preferences Privacy & Security panel.
  • Ensure the Third-Party Cookies setting All third-party cookies (may cause websites to break) is not selected. 
2. Chrome 
a. In Google Chrome browser, at the top right, click More N5LLlFszQeMqXo6Z6UF1VXFN4k3UxO8H8ZU3FV8A and then Settings.
b. At the bottom, click Show advanced settings.
c. In the Privacy and Security section, click Content settings

d. Select Cookies

e. Uncheck the box next to Block third-party cookies and site data:

Steps to Duplicate

  
  1. Navigate to the affected login page in Safari
  2. Attempt to log in
  3. View looping page loads.
