If a constituent wishes to be removed from the blacklist at a later date, he or she is required to email that request to Blackbaud. The request must meet the following criteria:
- The request must be sent from the email address that is to be removed from the blacklist.
- The request must specifically ask to be removed from the blacklist.
- The request must specifically name the organization that should be allowed to send email to the address in question.
Blackbaud requires these steps in the event an email recipient marks messages as SPAM a second time, after being removed from the blacklist. The requests are kept on record as confirmation that can be provided to Email Service Providers in order to protect sender reputation.
Requests will be fulfilled within 48 business hours. A confirmation will be sent to the requester when the email address has been removed from the blacklist.
