- Open the General Ledger. From the toolbar select Tools > Options.
- Select the Records Tab.
- In the Drop down choose an option other than "Blank" on how to display General Ledger for Windows account numbers.
- Select Apply, then OK to close the Options screen.
- Proceed with filtering for specific accounts on your report.
If you are receiving this error when trying to specify a range of accounts as a filter on a report:
- Highlight the second line that does not contain any accounts
- Select Delete on your keyboard
- Click Yes to delete the extra line
