Participants records got merged when using Multi Registration option

Participants registered in a KinteraThon event via multiple or family registration and two records got merged resulting in the participant's name appearing twice in the event's backend. You need them unmerged. 
Please include the following and Chat with Support and reference this case number:
  • Event name
  • Participant's name
  • Participant's supporter ID
  • Other participant's name

 

Steps to Duplicate

  1. Navigate to Communities > Special Events > Friends Asking Friends > Kintera Thon.
  2. Hover over the event and select Bookkeeping.
  3. Under Edit Transactions, click Manage Initiative Records.
  4. Next to Show me, mark the radio button beside Participants
  5. Search for the participant or click Show All
  6. Notice the identical/duplicate set of participants
