Teams can be Password-Protected in that the Team Captain assigns a password that others must know in order to join the team. To configure the TeamRaiser event so that this feature is enabled:
  1. Navigate to Fundraising > TeamRaiser
  2. Enter the event name in the search field
  3. Click Search
  4. Under the Action column, click Edit
  5. On the left hand navigation pane select Select Team Options
  6. Find the Password-Protected Teams setting and mark or unmark the checkbox "Yes, allow team captains to assign passwords for admission to their teams"
  7. Click Save

If a Team Captain has forgotten this password, the Team Captain can reset it, or an Admin can reset it. If a team that initially has a password decides that they no longer want to use a password for joining the team, the password can be removed by leaving the Password field blank altogether.
