This can occur due to the query's permissions OR the export definition including multiple of the same item.

Step 1: Verify the query's permissions:
Edit the query (including exclusion queries) that the process is using, and mark the Allow all users to run this query checkbox in the query properties.

If the user who wants to execute the process is different from the person who creates the query, then the Allow all users to run this query checkbox has to be marked in order to process run successfully.

Note: Only owner of query can mark this checkbox and save.

To edit queries under the universe or exclusions tab: 
  1. Go to Marketing and Communications
  2. Click Membership Renewal Efforts
  3. Go to the Templates Tab
  4. Click the hyper linked name of your membership renewal process.
  5. Click the Universe Tab
  6. Click the arrow for each option and Click Edit
  7. Click the Set Save Options tab 
  8. Confirm the "Allow other users to modify this query" checkbox is marked
  9. Repeat Steps 6-8 for the Exclusions Tab
To edit queries tied to segments:
  1. Go to Marketing and Communications
  2. Click Membership Renewal Efforts
  3. Go to the Templates Tab
  4. Click the hyper linked name of your membership renewal process.
  5. On the Membership Rules tab click the arrow next to your segment and Click edit
  6. Click the pencil icon next to the segment search field
  7. Click on the name of your smart query in the selections section and click edit
  8. Click on the set save options tab and mark the "Allow other users to modify this query" checkbox
  9. Click save
  10. Repeat steps 5-9 for each additional segment and smart query

Step 2: Verify there are not multiple of the same field in your export definition:
  1. Navigate to Marketing and Communication> Click on Export Definition
  2. Click drop down next to your export definition and select Edit
  3. Verify the nodes in the right-most column and if any duplicates, delete
  4. Save
