Online Express adds several gift attributes to the gift when downloaded from Online Express to The Raiser's Edge. Creating a query with a filter for one of these attributes can identify a gift as coming from Online Express.

To query constituents with gifts from Online Express:
  1. Go to Query in The Raiser's Edge.
  2. Click New Query.
  3. Select Constituent for the type and Dynamic for the format.
  4. On the Criteria tab of the query, find the following field: Gifts > Attributes > Specific Attributes
  5. Find one of the following fields under Specific Attributes and click the + beside it:
    • Online Express Form Name
    • Online Express Page URL
    • Online Express Transaction GUID
    • Online Express Transaction ID
    • (NOTE: These fields are added from the Online Express to gifts when processed through to Batch. Ensure these gifts are committed with the attributes intact so Online Express gifts can be identified.)
  6. Find the Description field under that selected attribute and double-click on it.
  7. Set this field with an operator of not blank.
  8. Click OK to add the field to the query.

To query for gifts from Online Express:
  1. Go to Query in The Raiser's Edge.
  2. Click New Query.
  3. Select Gift for the type and Dynamic for the format.
  4. On the Criteria tab of the query, find the following field: Attributes > Specific Attributes
  5. Find one of the following fields under Specific Attributes and click the + beside it:
    • Online Express Form Name
    • Online Express Page URL
    • Online Express Transaction GUID
    • Online Express Transaction ID
    • (NOTE: These fields are added from the Online Express to gifts when processed through to Batch. Ensure these gifts are committed with the attributes intact so Online Express gifts can be identified.)
  6. Find the Description field under that selected attribute and double-click on it.
  7. Set this field with an operator of not blank.
  8. Click OK to add the field to the query.

To work with Online Express gifts in a Raiser's Edge report:
  1. Start a report from the Reports module:
  2. Set up the report to look at the Online Express gifts in one of these ways:
    • Attach a gift query on the General tab of the report (such as one created in prior section)
    • Locate the Attributes tab of the Report. Set the report to Include records using a Gift attribute of one of the Online Express gift attributes. (Note: A value must be entered if using the Attributes tab. If the value is to be "blank" or "not blank", use a Gift query instead.)
