Try the following steps until the issue is resolved: 
  1. Ensure that the Merchandise Item is Active
    1. From Merchandise, Click Merchandise Search
    2. Search and Select the Merchandise item that does not appear in Daily Sales
    3. Click Mark Merchandise Active in the task bar on the left
  2. Ensure that the SKU is marked active
    1. From Merchandise, Click Merchandise Search
    2. Search and Select the Merchandise item that does not appear in Daily Sales
    3. On the Inventory tab, click the arrows to the left of the Inventory Item
    4. Click Mark Active
  3. If you are searching on a key word in Daily Sales, and not the full item name ensure you have defined this as an alternate lookup Value
    1. From Merchandise, Click Merchandise Search
    2. Search and Select the Merchandise item that does not appear in Daily Sales
    3. On the Inventory tab, click the arrows to the left of the Inventory Item, Click Edit
    4. In the Value column, enter the keyword you would like to search on
    5. Click Save
