When a new user registers for a Blackbaud ID account to access blackbaud.com, the user must confirm their email address by clicking on the Confirm Email button in the Confirmation email.
  • The confirmation email is sent immediately to the user and the link is valid for one hour.
    • If you received the email after one hour, your IT department will need to determine the delay within your network and resolve it so you may confirm your email address.
If you know your blackbaud.com password:
  1. Go to www.blackbaud.com.
  2. Delete your Blackbaud cookies.
  3. On Blackbaud.com click Sign In.
  4. Enter your blackbaud.com credentials. 
  5. When prompted, click the Resend Confirmation Email link. 
  6. You will then receive an email with a Confirm Email button.
  7. Click the Confirm Email button. 
  8. If you receive the same message, chat with Support and reference this article number.
If you do not know your blackbaud.com password: 
  1. Go to www.blackbaud.com and click Sign In.
  2. Click Forgot Password?.
  3. Enter your email address and click Submit.
  4. You will then receive an email with a link to reset your password; click the link. 
  5. When prompted, click the Resend Confirmation Email link. 
  6. You will then receive an email with a Confirm Email button.
  7. Click the Confirm Email button.
