Option #1: If you have a complex itinerary and would like to avoid rebuilding the itinerary from scratch:
  1. Open the group sales reservation record
  2. In the Manage Itineraries section, click Add
  3. Name the new itinerary
  4. Select the new, correct group type
  5. Add price types and counts
  6. Click Save
  7. Click on the name of the new itinerary
  8. Under Tasks, click Copy another itinerary
  9. in the Itinerary field, select the existing itinerary that this new itinerary will replace
  10. Mark the "Ignore itinerary resource conflicts when saving" checkbox. This will allow you to temporarily overbook resources.
  11. Click Copy
  12. If there is a scheduled program event in the itinerary that does not have sufficient capacity when both the new and old itineraries exist, the itinerary item will appear as an Unscheduled item. You will correct this issue after deleting the old itinerary.
  13. Click the name of the reservation at the top of itinerary to return to the reservation record
  14. Click the drop down next to the old itinerary, then click Delete
  15. Click Yes
  16. If there were any Unscheduled events in your new itinerary, click the name of the new itinerary to return to the itinerary record
  17. Right click on the Unscheduled item, then click Find another event
  18. Select the previously Unscheduled event from the event list
  19. Click Save. The Unscheduled item is now scheduled.

Option #2: Rebuild your itinerary:
  1. Open the group sales reservation record
  2. In the Manage Itineraries section, click on the arrows next to the existing itinerary
  3. Click Delete
  4. To recreate the itinerary, click Add
  5. Name the new itinerary
  6. Select the new, correct group type
  7. Add price types and counts
  8. Click Save
  9. Click on the name of the new itinerary
  10. Rebuild the itinerary events and resources

Note: If the group has been checked in, we will not be able to edit the Group Type field. Please refer here to see what items can be changed after check in.
